ZUBER is the result of many years of working in the trenches as a family.
We started as a little company that did big things and touched millions of lives by helping people achieve their goals through e-learning. We're still family-owned and a good example of the American success story. We got our start in the late 90s developing the first school-based online test prep programs. We created online courses and provided intensive coaching programs.
Today we acquire small to midsize businesses and help entrepreneurs scale. We draw on our years of experience running businesses in super challenging markets with large competitors who copied our every move. We withstood economic downturns and our own errors as we learned how to run and grow a businesses with a data-driven approach.
Will Zuberbuhler: Managing Partner
Will entered the business as an intern in 1998. He worked in almost every part of the company, but found himself always gravitating back to sales and business development. He took over the family business in 2015. In 2023 he pivoted his family from primarily educational SaaS to consulting and acquisitions when he founded ZUBER. Its strategy is to scale/acquire profitable businesses that have teams and products/services that the family believes in.
When not analyzing businesses or working on new ventures, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and their 7 children.
In Loving Memory of Our Father and Grandfather
It all began with our father, Bill Zuberbuhler. He gave 27 years of his life to the U.S. Navy. He retired as the Deputy Oceanographer of the Navy. He reached such heights in his Naval career because of his unique intelligence, a Socratic approach to challenges, and that he gave his all to anything that God gave him to do. He was a deeply Christian man. His greatest devotions were to the Divine Mercy and daily Mass. Bill died in December 2014.
